Aaliyah Dana Haughton and Aarti Mann

Aaliyah Dana Haughton burst into fame in 1994 after she released her debut Album Age Ain't Nothing More Than a Number. When she was just 15 years old, the album earned Gold standing. R. Kelly was a key influence on the collaboration which brought her into the spotlight. In 1996 she worked with Jermaine Dupri as well as Timbaland to release her second album One In A Million which featured the hit number one single If Your Girl Only Knew. Aaliyah was recognized internationally for her work as an R&B artist following their release of the second album, One In A Million. She starred with the legendary martial artist Jet Li in the 2000 romantic-action movie Romeo Must Die. Joel Silver, film producer and director of Romeo Must Die caught her at an awards ceremony. Queen of the Damned was her first role in 2002. The story is based on an Anne Rice novel. The Matrix Sequels followed, which featured Zee playing her role. She has been awarded four Grammy nominations for the year 1999, 2001 and 2002 and 2003. Aarti Mann is an Indian-American from the her first generation, who was born in Connecticut. Mann is the abbreviation of her married final name Mankad. Aarti has both Aarti Majumdar and Aarti Munn as her professional names. Though her first career was filled with minor movie and TV parts, she gained notoriety in the late 2000s. Her other notable projects include Grey's Anatomy, Suits and Leverage. She has appeared in numerous commercials including Volvo's international car producer. The mother of her daughter resides in Los Angeles and is pursuing acting.
